A few things you can do to prevent thefts in the neighborhood:

• Lock car doors and keep valuables out of site. See more about car prowls.
• Keep an outside light on at night, keep doors locked.
• Report suspicious solicitors (very few are legitimate).
• Let a neighbor know when you will be out of town. See more about extended leaves.
